Mary    Emmy award winning Mary Lou Belli currently directs UPN’s new hit sitcom “Eve” starring the MTV award winning hip-hop artist.   She began her directing career with multiple episodes of “Charles In Charge” and “Major Dad,” and continues with such current shows as “Girlfriends,” “The Hughleys,” “Sister, Sister,” and “One on One.”  Known for her work in children’s programming, Mary Lou coached on NBC’s Saturday morning hit “Saved by the Bell- The New Class.”  She went on to direct “USA High,” “One World,” Nickolodeon’s “Amber, Amber,” and Fox’s teenage soap opera, “Tribes.”

     After receiving a BA in theatre from Penn State, Mary Lou acted in musical theatre and soaps in New York, followed by a Los Angeles career producing and directing theatre. She has over 75 play productions to her credit, mostly world or west coast premieres, including Cecile Callan’s controversial “Angels Twice Descending” optioned as television movie by Fox, Wil Calhoun's “The Balcony Scene” co-produced Off Broadway with her partner Ian Praiser at NY's Circle Rep starring Cynthia Nixon, and then placed in development as a feature at TRISTAR.

     Among the awards she holds the dearest is her citation from the Los Angles Mayor Tom Bradley for her work with abused children.  She lives with her actor husband, Charles Dougherty.  They have two children.

    Phil Single camera and multi-camera directing credits for Phil Ramuno include almost one hundred episodes of many sitcoms, as well as “Into The Night Starring Rick Dees” (ABC late night), “America’s Funniest People,” and six years of documentary, news, and public affairs for Group W in Boston.

     Phil's introduction to sitcom was as an assistant director on the legendary “Soap.”  He later directed multiple episodes of such sitcoms as “Gimme a Break,”  “Charles in Charge.” “The Ted Night Show,” “9 to 5,” and “Grace Under Fire.”  Phil helmed eight pilots for ABC, CBS, FOX, Nickelodeon, TLC, Universal Studios, Columbia, Orion, and Disney.

     For the stage, Phil directed several award-winning plays in Los Angles. He has co-run workshops for handicapped actors in Southern California and won an award from the State of California for a sitcom episode on “Throb” for the best direction of a handicapped actor.  He has taught various subtleties of television production and acting for sitcoms at his alma mater Emerson College, Emerson College Los Angeles Campus, Endicott College, the Lake Arrowhead Workshops, and the Directors Guild Workshop.  Phil is currently teaching at USC Film Graduate School.

     He and his wife, Jackie Zebal Ramuno, live in Los Angeles with their children Jeff and Jessica.
